It is 11:34 AM on 7/13/2023.

I press Ctrl T and type: ‘Writers who had odd jobs’ and press Enter.

It is Microsoft Bing.

It begins with Search. It brings up this big box with the title 5 Famous Authors Who Worked Odd Jobs from the website writerscircle.com making me immediately realize my grammatical and linguistic mistake. Or was it?

As I proceed to scroll below, I notice that someone is speaking to me from the right of the screen. I look.

Sure! Here are some famous authors who worked odd jobs before becoming full-time writers:

It says.

It brings up a name and some details immediately. Mary Higgins Clark worked as a switchboard operator, a stewardess, and a secretary before becoming a full-time suspense writer at age 47.

Below this result is another name. Fade out. I am tempted to click See More. By this time, I have already forgotten about the search. Before clicking See More, I hover my cursor over the first result. It’s from writerscircle.com too!

Now I am curious to know if other results are from writercircle.com too. I click See More. I hover around four other results.
