When making lists like these, I select texts I have highlighted or annotated while reading. This list is no different.

Ever since I first read a Bukowski poem, I have been hooked. I keep a book of his around me wherever I go. While his words do a lot of things, their most important function for me has been to take some pressure off.

Without sounding too worshippy, I would say his entire poetry is actually my favorite moment. So, take this as a breakdown. A first part of many to come, perhaps!

It would be criminal to provide my opinion or judgment on the ‘moments’ so I will leave them for you to decipher, interpret, and enjoy.
