It is discussions like these that makes you want write and publish isn't it?

When it comes to things like writing- which are inherently 'human' in nature- AI is in fact an irony. (I am countering those who want to automate the creative process such that AI produces better than us and we won't require human creatives anymore).

We do thing like writing, art, etc. to express and experience our humanity and I don't see any point in a machine doing it- apart from for occasional amusement.

I agree about the efficiency thing. I think AIs should be used as efficient machines and nothing more. Not that they will ever be able to go to other depths.

We looked at birds and desired to fly. We then created airplanes. Yes, airplanes are faster, fly higher and are efficient, but they are not birds, are they?
