Get Into This Habit!

Our thoughts often — without our volition — take us to places at breakneck speed. If we are lucky enough to come back to our senses, we can’t help but wonder how we ended up there and where we were supposed to be.

There seem to be countless paths: We could go anywhere! Yet, all we do is stand idly at a junction scratching our heads (with a bit of anxiety).

Such is the nature of our mind and of our times!

Yet, there is a simple solution if you regularly find yourself there. It’s about getting into a simple habit. It’s what the British Philosopher Thomas Hobbes said, paraphrasing one among seven wise men:

…in all your actions, look often upon what you would have, as the thing that directs all your thoughts in the way to attain it.
